A UAE authority has revealed that 1,934 private companies were found to be in violation of Emiratisation policies from mid-2022 until 19 November 2024. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation stated that these companies employed 3,035 UAE nationals in a manner that contravened Emiratisation policies, engaging in fraudulent practices to meet targets. In contrast, over 22,000 private firms hired Emiratis in adherence to Emiratisation policies during the same timeframe. The authority emphasized that any attempts to evade Emiratisation obligations will be met with strict enforcement in accordance with the law. MOHRE also urged the public to report any practices that conflict with Emiratisation policies and regulations by contacting its call center at 600590000 or through the ministry’s smart app and website.
