Registration is now open for the 10th International Day of Yoga, organized by the Indian Consulate. The Indian mission in Dubai is preparing to host approximately 4,000 attendees at the World Trade Centre on June 22, from 5pm to 7pm, for a revitalizing session. Consul General Satish Sivan unveiled the International Day of Yoga website and registration page during a pre-event at the Consulate. Interested participants can register by scanning the QR code or visiting the website. The envoy emphasized that Yoga, a traditional Indian practice, is a precious gift to the world, and this event is a chance to promote holistic health. Additionally, the Consulate plans to involve around 1,000 residents from various nationalities in the northern Emirates. Consul General Satish Sivan, in response to Khaleej Times, expressed hope that all of Dubai could participate, but noted the venue's capacity is 4,000. He stressed the importance of pre-registration, which includes details like T-shirt size, and assured that T-shirts, yoga mats, and reserved spaces would be provided at the venue.
