In the city of Al Ain, often referred to as the garden city of the UAE, the 16th Lulu Hypermarket has opened its doors, marking another milestone in the expansion of Lulu Group across the eastern region of the country. The inauguration was led by Dr Sheikh Salem BalRakkad Al Ameri, a former member of the UAE Federal National Council, and was attended by Saifee Rupawala, CEO of Lulu Group, Ashraf Ali M A, executive director of LuLu Group, and other notable figures. This latest retail addition offers a comprehensive shopping experience for both locals and residents of Al Ajayyiz and surrounding areas, spanning over 40,000 sq ft. It includes a wide range of global ingredients in the supermarket section, fresh food in the Hot Foods area, a bakery, electronics, household essentials, and more. Rupawala expressed his satisfaction with the new store, stating, 'We are delighted to open another store that serves our loyal customers in Al Ajayyiz and nearby neighborhoods in Al Ain. LuLu’s growth reflects the discerning choices of shoppers who value our commitment to quality, affordability, and variety.' He also announced plans to open three more stores in Al Ain by the end of next year, in locations such as Al Quaa, Souq Zafran, and Al Yaher, to better serve customers in outlying areas.
