As we eagerly await any news on a potential spicy GRMN version, the GR Corolla has been assigned a price tag for the 2025 model year. Starting at $39,995 for the base Core trim with a six-speed manual gearbox, this represents a notable increase of $2,360 compared to the outgoing 2024MY. The listed price includes the obligatory $1,135 handling fees.

Opting for the hot hatch with the newly introduced eight-speed automatic transmission will set you back an additional $2,000 over the manual version. Consequently, the most affordable automatic variant is priced at $41,995. Moving up to the better-equipped Premium trim, the manual version will cost you $42,575, which is $1,120 more than last year's model. Toyota also offers this midrange trim with the automatic transmission for an extra $2,000, bringing the total to $44,575.

The new-for-2025 Premium Plus trim includes a forged carbon fiber roof, matte black wheels, a vented hood bulge, a sub-radiator, a head-up display, and GR-branded Naub Suede seats with red stitching. This flagship trim is priced at $46,650 for the manual and $48,650 for the automatic version.

The price hike is partly justified by an increase in torque from 273 to 295 pound-feet, aligning it with the Morizo special edition. Toyota has fine-tuned the suspension for enhanced cornering performance, and the automatic model now features a dedicated launch control system. Additionally, the slightly redesigned front bumper improves both cooling and aerodynamics. Furthermore, front and rear Torsen limited-slip differentials are now standard across the range. The manual version also benefits from an updated clutch for smoother operation, particularly during quick starts.

Toyota plans to have the 2025 GR Corollas at dealerships this fall. If a GRMN version is in the works, it likely won't arrive before the 2026MY. Historically, GRMN models have been limited-run special editions rather than permanent additions to the lineup.
