The Jeep Gladiator underwent a refresh last year, so there aren't many changes for the 2025 model. However, manual transmission enthusiasts will be disappointed as the six-speed stick shift has been officially discontinued across all trim levels. The eight-speed automatic is now the sole gearbox option.
Another significant update for the 2025 Gladiator is the standardization of power windows and door locks. Previously, these features were standard on all trims except the entry-level Sport. Now, even the most basic Gladiator comes equipped with these conveniences.
The base price of the Gladiator has increased, but the hike is reasonable given the updates. The 2025 Gladiator Sport starts at $39,995, a $205 increase that includes Jeep's $1,895 destination charge, unchanged from last year. At the top end, prices for the Mojave and Rubicon have actually decreased by almost $2,000. Compared to the Mojave X and Rubicon X, the difference is over $4,000.
Here's a detailed price breakdown for all 2025 Gladiator trims, including the destination fee.
Other updates for 2025 include two new exterior colors: Fathom Blue and '41, a green shade inspired by olive drab military vehicles. Owners can also pre-condition the Gladiator's cabin using the available Active Cabin Ventilation feature via the Jeep Connect mobile app.
The Gladiator 4xe plug-in hybrid is still in the works. Jeep plans to debut it sometime in 2025, likely with the same powertrain as the Wrangler 4xe: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a single electric motor, delivering a combined 375 horsepower.
With the elimination of the manual transmission in the Gladiator, the only remaining pickup truck in America with a stick shift is the Toyota Tacoma.
