A 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit Russia's East Coast, according to the UAE's National Seismic Network at the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Friday, August 30.
The National Seismic Network reported that the quake happened at 8.24am UAE time. Additionally, a 5.4 magnitude earthquake affected various regions in Pakistan, including Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), on Thursday.
In a separate incident, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake occurred off the eastern Maluku province of Indonesia on Tuesday morning, without causing significant waves.
