Rescue teams have successfully rescued 76 coalminers following an earth tremor at a mine in southern Poland, according to the mine-owner PGG. However, two miners remain trapped underground. PGG reported that one of the trapped miners has been located, and rescuers from 11 search parties are working to reach him. Out of the 76 miners brought to the surface, 17 were hospitalized, with one sustaining serious injuries, as revealed by PGG CEO Leszek Pietraszek during a televised news conference. Earlier, PGG spokesperson Aleksandra Wysocka-Siembiga stated that the tremor happened at approximately 0600 GMT, about 1,200 meters below ground at the Rydultowy mine.
