The Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, has begun filming in Belfast, Northern Ireland, returning to the original production hub. HBO released a first-look photo on Instagram, showcasing Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall, offering a peek into Westeros' past. Directed by Sarah Adina Smith and Owen Harris, the series has bolstered its cast with Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, and Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen. Set a century before Game of Thrones, the show follows Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg, exploring the Targaryen-ruled Westeros and its legends under the guidance of creators George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker.
