Bollywood's leading man Aamir Khan might soon showcase his vocal talents. The actor, known for his role in 'Rang De Basanti,' was present at the Mumbai launch of Raj Pandit's song 'Kooriye' on Wednesday. During the event, Khan disclosed his intentions to venture into singing, much to the audience's surprise. "I've begun learning to sing and have been under the tutelage of Sucheta ji for the past year," he shared. Khan also expressed his passion for music, describing it as "a form of meditation."
At the launch, Khan praised the 'Kooriye' track and its creators. "Raj Pandit has executed 'Kooriye' exceptionally well. The song's music, visuals, and emotional depth are highly praiseworthy. I'm delighted to support such remarkable talent," he stated. Zoya Afroz, featured in the music video, also expressed her excitement about the project. "Collaborating on 'Kooriye' has been an extraordinary experience. Raj's creative vision and the team's dedication have transformed this song into a beautiful piece of art. I'm thankful for the positive reception and support," she noted.
Raj Pandit, the mastermind behind 'Kooriye,' expressed his gratitude for the support and acknowledged the presence of Aamir Khan. Additionally, Pandit is set to produce 'Lahore 1947,' a film starring Sunny Deol and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, featuring Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, and Ali Fazal.
