Class is back in session, and some familiar faces are joining in. “Abbott Elementary” creator and star Quinta Brunson recently teased on Instagram which show will crossover with the sitcom during Season 4. Lisa Ann Walter is thrilled about the upcoming collaboration.

“’Sunny in Philadelphia,’” Walter exclusively told The Post at Warner Brothers’ Fall TV Season Celebration. “I can’t wait. I think it’s going to be unhinged. We’ve already started our part, but we’re not done yet. I just received a script for their side today, but I haven’t read it yet.”

Walter, 61, emphasized that there won’t be any breaks in comedy this season. “Because we don’t film with an audience and we don’t allow for laugh breaks, you really need to watch closely. During what would be a laugh break, there are other funny lines that you might miss,” she explained. “We’ve completed six episodes so far and are now working on the seventh. This season is the funniest yet, and it’s the funniest project I’ve ever been a part of.”

Having her co-stars, including Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Janelle James, William Stanford Davis, and Chris Perfetti, by her side makes the work even more enjoyable. “I can’t wait to go to work each morning because I know I’ll have a great time. Everyone is performing at their best,” Walter gushed. “My game has been elevated this season. I’m doing well and I’m very funny.”

After work or during breaks, the cast still spends time together. “We had a nice dinner before Emmys weekend, which was really fun,” Walter shared. “Then we all went home early!”

Walter also has a list of actors she’d like to bring on as staff members at the school, but she’s keeping quiet about it. “I have a whole list of people I’d love to be part of my family since it’s now known that Melissa has many siblings,” she teased. “If I say it, Quinta won’t do it because that’s how she is. She doesn’t want people to think that asking is the way to get on the show.”

However, there are some actors she’d love to collaborate with in future projects. “Cate Blanchett, Bill Hader, and Seth Rogen would be great,” Walters said. “I’d also love to work with Melissa McCarthy. She’s someone who makes me laugh out loud.”
