Several cruise liners are set to arrive in Abu Dhabi, enabling more visitors to explore the Arabian Gulf, according to tourism authorities who announced this on Wednesday. They also launched a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the emirate's status as a top cruise destination.

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT- Abu Dhabi) outlined several new initiatives to improve the cruise experience in the emirate. These include an exclusive digital cruise guide and a new visitor information center at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal. Additionally, crew members of cruise ships will be encouraged to discover Abu Dhabi's hidden treasures with a new Cruise Crew Pass, which will offer substantial discounts on food, retail, and attractions throughout the emirate.

These announcements were made at this year's Seatrade Cruise MED, held in Málaga, Spain. The event attracted over 2,000 visitors and more than 175 cruise line personnel from over 80 countries.
