AD Ports has officially announced the opening of the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility at Zayed International Airport (AUH) on Friday. This facility is the only US preclearance location in the Middle East and Asia region and coincides with AUH's first anniversary celebrations.

"This facility is a strategic asset that distinguishes Abu Dhabi and AUH, reinforcing our status as a key hub connecting East and West," AD Ports stated on X. AD Ports' Managing Director and CEO, Elena Sorlini, hosted Martha Strong, the United States Ambassador to the UAE, and Judson Murdock, CBP Deputy Executive Assistant Commissioner, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included prominent figures from the aviation sector.
