Actor Aditi Rao Hydari, who gained prominence through her recent role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, has become the talk of the town as she graced the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

During the event held at the Bharat Pavilion, Aditi looked absolutely stunning in an exquisite golden ethnic outfit paired with golden jhumkas and a gajra. This marked her first appearance at Cannes 2024, and the entire affair was captured by the Press Information Bureau in Meghalaya, who also captured moments of Indian director of photography Santosh Sivan receiving the esteemed Pierre Angénieux ExcelLens in Cinematography award.

Santosh Sivan, who has now become the first Asian to receive this prestigious accolade, was highly praised by Aditi Rao Hydari at the Bharat Pavilion. Aditi, following in the footsteps of Aishwarya Rai, attended the festival as an ambassador for L'Oreal Paris. Prior to her departure to France, she shared some stylish photos on Instagram, dressed in a chic white jacket, black pants, and a matching cap.

Aditi made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022, where she turned heads with her stunning looks both on and off the red carpet. In 2023, she made a comeback with unforgettable ensembles, including a mesmerizing blue Oscar De La Renta dress for a L'Oreal shoot, as well as a ruffled, sunflower yellow gown designed by Michael Cinco. Her performance in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, which also features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, and Taha Shah, continues to receive accolades and admiration.
