Admiral, a brand under The Italian Sea Group (TISG), has recently marked the keel-laying ceremony for the inaugural vessel in its Quaranta series. This milestone comes after the successful sale of the model in May 2024. The 40-metre yacht will be part of the shipyard's semi-custom line and is a product of the collaborative efforts between Monaco-based studio The A Group and the Centro Stile of The Italian Sea Group.

Key features of the yacht include an aluminium hull designed to reduce fuel consumption, along with a flexible internal layout that mirrors the spaciousness of a 60-metre yacht. These attributes, combined with lower management costs, make the model particularly appealing to clients interested in chartering. The accommodation comprises six guest cabins, with two specifically tailored for the owner—one on the main deck and a more expansive one on the upper deck, accessible via an external staircase.

The interiors are envisioned to be 'sporty and youthful,' characterized by curved lines, soft surfaces, and a 'welcoming [...] discreet atmosphere' suitable for chartering. Materials used include honey Canaletto oak, rough sanded oak, and light leathers. Special attention has been given to the ergonomic design of all internal spaces, avoiding sharp corners and rounding all edges gently. The overall design follows a 'cocooning' theme, enhanced by the sophisticated materials used.

On the main deck, the expansive saloon will boast three full-height windows, a living-dining area, and a 'technologically advanced' game zone. The aft deck features a full-beam staircase, described as the yacht's 'signature' by TISG, followed by a drawer-like platform concealed by the beach club. When extended, this platform triples the surface area, providing 'sea access typical of larger yachts.'

'The Admiral Quaranta yacht was made possible thanks to the perfect synergy found with The A Group, to offer a 40-metre yacht that encompasses typical layout and comfort features usually only found on much larger yachts,' stated Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of TISG. 'We have created a harmonious synergy at the core of this project thanks to our strong expertise in terms of design, quality, and innovation.' This announcement follows an update on the construction of the shipyard's 53-metre hybrid Admiral model, the third unit from the Panorama line and the first to feature hybrid propulsion.
