Aegean Yacht, situated in Bodrum, has completed and handed over the second vessel in its 26-meter Aegean Explorer series. The yacht, named Hekate, is set to be exhibited at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Constructed from steel and aluminium, this 187GT explorer yacht has been entirely designed and engineered by Aegean Yacht itself, aiming to be a versatile 'go-everywhere' vessel. Its exterior is characterized by a straightforward design enhanced by a dual-tone paint scheme that subtly highlights its stature and bulk. The interior is noted for its clean and sophisticated aesthetic, featuring materials such as silky matte-finished limewashed oak, white lacquer, and accents of stainless steel. The standard layout accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins, which include three full-beam master suites. A standout feature is the upper deck master suite, which includes a private terrace equipped with seating and sunbathing areas, tailored to the owner's specific desires. Additionally, there are two twin cabins and a VIP suite on the lower deck, all crafted to foster a luxurious and serene environment. Guests can enjoy the various external relaxation zones, including the forward and aft areas of the bridge deck and the aft deck with its swim platform. Powered by a pair of 650 HP MAN engines, Hekate can reach a top speed of 12.7 knots and boasts a range of 3,500 nautical miles when cruising economically. Currently, Hekate is available for purchase through Denison Yachting. The inaugural hull of the series, Ukiel, was delivered in November 2023.
