The Bodrum-based shipyard Aegean Yacht has completed the delivery of the second unit in its 26-metre Aegean Explorer series. The yacht, named Hekate, will be displayed at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Constructed from steel and aluminium, this 187GT explorer yacht has been entirely designed and engineered in-house, aiming to be a versatile 'go-everywhere' vessel. Its exterior features a straightforward design complemented by a dual-tone paint scheme that subtly highlights its stature and bulk. The interior is characterized by a clean and sophisticated aesthetic, utilizing materials such as silky matte-finished limewashed oak, white lacquer, and accents of stainless steel. The standard accommodation layout includes space for 12 guests across six cabins, featuring three full-beam master suites. A standout feature is the upper deck master suite, which includes a private terrace equipped with seating and sunbathing areas, customizable to meet the owner's specific desires. Additionally, there are two twin cabins and a VIP suite on the lower deck, all crafted to foster a luxurious and serene environment. Guests can enjoy the various external relaxation zones, including the forward and aft areas of the bridge deck and the aft deck and swim platform. Hekate is powered by a pair of 650 HP MAN engines, allowing it to reach a top speed of 12.7 knots and a cruising range of 3,500 nautical miles at an economical speed. Currently, Hekate is available for purchase through Denison Yachting. The initial hull in the series, Ukiel, was delivered in November 2023.
