AEMACO, a prominent supplier of all-encompassing energy management systems, has revealed the successful implementation of its pioneering energy management technology at Servhub's workforce camp in the UAE, resulting in a 20 percent decrease in energy usage for the facilities management firm. Founded in 2020, AEMACO initially concentrated on air conditioning systems and created its own hardware and software for monitoring and controlling these systems, a first in the UAE and Saudi markets. The company's IoT hardware, which includes sensors and transmitters, can connect with AC units across different buildings, while the software integrates all commands to manage these devices.

AEMACO collaborated with PROVEN Solution to develop this energy management system and installed it at Servhub's labor camp in the UAE. This integrated platform aided in reducing energy consumption, lowering maintenance expenses, and extending equipment life. The synergy of the IoT device AirEcon and the AI-powered software enables automatic optimization of energy use and enhances energy efficiency.

Recognizing the influence of utility consumption on building management expenses, AEMACO aimed to create a solution that would cut costs, enhance energy efficiency, and introduce automation. Starting with air conditioners, due to their high power consumption in the Middle East, AEMACO plans to expand its focus to water and electricity. The company successfully reduced energy costs for Servhub and optimized the management of their energy devices at the camp facility. Looking ahead, AEMACO is eager to further develop its technologies for other facilities like schools, mosques, and hospitals, promoting customized energy-saving solutions.

Saboor Ahmad, CEO of AEMACO, stated, "We successfully helped Servhub reduce energy costs and optimize the management of their energy devices at their facility camp. Looking at the success of this project, we look forward to advancing our technologies further to other facilities such as schools, mosques, hospitals and promote energy-saving solutions tailored for diverse facility needs."

Zaid Al Mashari, CEO and co-founder of PROVEN Arabia, Servhub's parent company, commented: "Servhub is a leading comprehensive blue-collar service provider in the region. Its facility buildings are designed with the objective of minimizing cost, enhancing energy efficiency, and adhering to sustainability principles. We are proud to be working with AEMACO and chose their innovative energy management solution that is user-friendly, cost-effective, and easily customizable. We achieved a remarkable 20 per cent energy consumption reduction using AEMACO’s solution and we plan to implement it in other facilities too."

AEMACO’s solution was piloted at two of Servhub's labor camp facilities, encompassing 157 rooms and approximately 1200 residents. All air conditioning units at the facility were connected with a hardware gateway device, enabling communication between the software and the units. The AC units were organized by floor or building level and managed through a single software interface. This system allowed authorized personnel to remotely monitor all units and receive real-time updates on energy usage, detect anomalies, adopting a proactive approach.

The software operates on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and was developed by PROVEN Solution, a startup focused on technological solutions in robotics and virtual reality.
