Air India has announced that it will be operating certain flights to and from the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, on Tuesday evening. The national carrier of India shared this information on X, stating that it will be flying the Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi route. "Air India will be operating its evening flights AI237/238 on the Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi sector on August 6, 2024," the airline mentioned in its post. Additionally, Air India has stated that due to the current circumstances, it is providing a one-time waiver for rescheduling to its passengers. "Given the ongoing situation in Dhaka, Air India is offering a one-time waiver on rescheduling for customers with confirmed bookings on any Air India flight to and from Dhaka between August 4th and 7th, 2024, should they wish to do so. These tickets must be booked on or before August 5th. We want to emphasize that the safety of our customers and crew is our foremost priority at Air India. Earlier on Monday, the airline had declared the immediate cancellation of flights to and from Dhaka.
