Starting tomorrow (June 1), commuters in Ajman will experience reduced taxi fares as transport officials have announced a decrease in rates. Ajman Transport has lowered cab fares to Dh1.84 per kilometre for June, down by 4 fils from Dh1.88 per kilometre in May. This adjustment follows the recent cut in fuel prices, with Super 98 petrol costing Dh3.14 per litre, Special 95 at Dh3.02, and E-plus 91 at Dh2.95 from tomorrow. Residents, depending on their vehicles, can potentially save up to Dh14.80 every time they fill up their tanks this month.
