Taking a taxi in Ajman will see a slight increase in fare starting November, according to an announcement by the emirate's transport authority on Thursday, October 31.
From next month, the per kilometre fare in Ajman will rise to Dh1.77, up from the current rate of Dh1.75. This marginal hike follows two consecutive months of fare reductions.
The new fuel prices, which apply nationwide from November 1, are as follows: Super 98 petrol will cost Dh2.74 per litre, up from Dh2.66 in October. Special 95 petrol will be priced at Dh2.63 per litre, compared to Dh2.54 currently. E-Plus 91 petrol will cost Dh2.55 per litre, an increase from Dh2.47 in October.
Depending on the vehicle type, filling up a tank in November could cost between Dh4.08 and Dh6.66 more than last month.
