Twenty-one years after clinching their inaugural Asian Champions League title, Al Ain triumphantly reclaimed the trophy with a commanding 5-1 win against Japan’s Yokohama F Marinos in the second leg at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Saturday.

Although Yokohama F Marinos secured a 2-1 victory in the first leg at home, the UAE side retaliated emphatically, securing an aggregate 6-3 win. Al Ain's previous conquest of this prestigious continental title dates back to 2003.
