Last season, Al Wasl achieved a remarkable double by winning the league title following their commanding 4-0 victory over Al Nasr in the President’s Cup final at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. The new season kicks off with Al Wasl playing away against Kalba on Friday, followed by a home fixture against Dibba Al Hisn at Zabeel Stadium on August 29. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi’s Al Wahda will face Ajman, and Al Orooba will take on Dubai’s Al Nasr in the season’s opening matches on Friday (6 pm). On Saturday, Bani Yas will play against Al Jazira, Shabab Al Ahli will face Al Bataeh, Al Ain will compete against Khor Fakkan, and Dibba Al-Hisn will clash with Sharjah.
