Bollywood star Alia Bhatt, fresh from the release of her film Jigra, has opened up about her diagnosis with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In an interview with Indian media, she revealed that her diagnosis came after a series of thorough tests. Bhatt mentioned that the symptoms were always present—she would often space out during classes and conversations, a behavior that her friends noticed. However, she was unaware of the underlying cause of her 'normal' behavior.

During the same interview, Bhatt shared that she feels most at peace and present when she is with her daughter, Raha, or while she is in the midst of filming. For those interested in reading the review of Jigra, click here.

As an illustration of how her ADHD has impacted her actions, Bhatt recounted an instance where her makeup artist, Puneet B Saini, wished to spend a couple of hours on her makeup for her wedding day. She admitted that she lacked the patience for such a lengthy process.

Bhatt is married to actor Ranbir Kapoor, with whom she shares a daughter. Kapoor recently disclosed in an interview with ANI that Bhatt meticulously planned every detail of their wedding day. He stated, "My wife planned everything, I just had to follow her lead. Our wedding took place at our home only. So, it was not that hectic. And it was just perfect marriage. To be bride groom again in this collection just feels good."
