Greek shipyard Alpha Tango Yachts has joined forces with British builder Brythonic Yachts to unveil a new, 49.7-metre concept named LUX. This superyacht is set to be constructed at Sea Horse Yachts' facilities in Sri Lanka, which are currently in the process of being built.
The naval architecture has been meticulously designed by Alpha Tango Yachts in collaboration with Kobus Naval Design. Meanwhile, the interior design is the brainchild of Cristiano Mariani Architect, with significant input from long-time partner Gian Paolo Nari. Key specifications include an 8.15-metre beam, a top speed of up to 20 knots, and a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
Accommodation on board is spread across five cabins, featuring a full-beam owner's suite complete with his and hers en suite facilities and a dedicated 'beauty room'. Additionally, there are quarters for nine crew members. LUX is equipped with an extensive array of amenities, such as a gym, sauna, cinema, music room, wine cellar, foredeck spa, and swimming pool. The garage is also designed to house a seven-metre sports tender and various other water toys.
According to the shipyard, LUX is tailored to meet the needs of both private owners and charter market clients. The yacht will be constructed from aluminium and powered by twin 2,500hp MTT engines.
