Amazon and Games Workshop have finalized an agreement on the creative guidelines for adapting the Warhammer 40K universe into multiple films and television series.

Henry Cavill, known for his role in 'Man of Steel' and overseeing production and starring in the show, shared on Instagram that he has been actively working on character and lore adaptations. 'Our combined efforts have led us to a fantastic starting point for our Universe, which has been approved by both Amazon and Games Workshop,' he stated. 'This initial point, however, will remain confidential for now.'

Games Workshop, the developer of Warhammer 40K, also mentioned in a community update that the first project is set to enter full development, beginning with the scripts, which will serve as the cornerstone for future projects within the universe. The production of these films and series is anticipated to span several years.

The partnership between Amazon Prime's Warhammer 40K series and Henry Cavill commenced in 2022 when Cavill announced his involvement in the project. A year later, Amazon, Games Workshop, and Cavill finalized their agreement. Currently, development is picking up pace, though the specifics of 'Project One' remain undisclosed.

In related news, Amazon's Prime Video game anthology series, 'Secret Level,' has released a new episode today, detailing the events following the conclusion of 'Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2.'
