Amazon provides an impressive selection of PC games each month through its Prime Gaming platform, which is included with a Prime subscription. This month, however, Prime members can access an astonishing number of free games. Some of these additional freebies were introduced to commemorate the launch of Amazon's Secret Level anthology series on Prime Video. In total, Prime members can claim and keep 72 free games, including numerous GOG and Epic Game Store keys, as well as games accessible via the Prime Gaming app.

How does it work? Although Amazon Prime costs $15 per month, new users can enjoy a free 30-day trial. Even without the trial, this promotion effectively offers a 72-game bundle for $15, which translates to about 20 cents per game—an incredibly low price. Another significant advantage is that once you download these games, they are yours to keep forever. Unlike PS Plus or Xbox Game Pass, you don't need to maintain a subscription to continue playing. Many of the games are also available as download codes for platforms like the Epic Games Store and GOG. Additionally, Prime Gaming includes other monthly games such as Planet of Lana, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and The Town of Light.

For Warhammer 40K enthusiasts, the original Space Marine offers exciting third-person shooter action. If you prefer tactical games, Dawn of War is a fantastic entry in the franchise. Shifting from sci-fi to fantasy, you can explore the Forgotten Realms with enhanced editions of classic RPGs like the first two Baldur's Gate games and Neverwinter Nights. For more recent titles, Dredge offers nautical Lovecraftian themes, Scorn delivers gross first-person action, and Death's Door explores life, death, and adorable crows armed with big swords. Fans of roguelikes will enjoy Cursed to Golf, a side-scrolling golf game with innovative level designs.

The list also includes several older AAA hits such as The Outer Worlds, Dishonored: Definitive Edition, BioShock Remastered, and Mafia: Definitive Edition. For couch multiplayer fun, both Overcooked games are available. Metroidvania fans can look forward to Ghost Song, Moonscars, and 9 Years of Shadows. There are also numerous other excellent indie games, such as the captivating Spelunky, the still-excellent Super Meat Boy, the humorous Coromon, and the music-celebrating No Straight Roads.

For those interested in PlayStation Studios games on PC, Amazon offers some fantastic deals. While most require an Amazon Prime subscription, these deals are highly attractive. The full list of Prime Gaming freebies is available below, though note that some titles may disappear earlier than others. The list is accurate as of December 11, but many games will remain available through the end of the year.
