The sixth Amels 60, now named 21.12, has left Damen Yachting's facilities in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, and set sail on her inaugural voyage to the UK town of Dartmouth. This milestone comes after her successful sea trials in September.

21.12 was commissioned by a European owner, with the sale initially announced during the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show. The yacht features the return of the design team responsible for the first hull, Come Together, with exterior design by Espen Øino and a bespoke interior by British studio Winch Design. She maintains the distinctive windows and exterior styling of her predecessors while incorporating significant updates, such as a 'spectacular' color scheme, windbreakers, and swimming steps.

'This latest Amels 60 is a superb representation of our Limited Editions concept,' remarked Damen Yachting’s sales manager, Jorrit Pilaar. The yacht is designed for 'global voyages' and will serve as a family cruiser. The sixth hull in the series is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system, offering 830GT, which provides ample space for amenities including a large sundeck, swim platform, and an unfolding balcony attached to the owner's suite. Additionally, there is space for a nine-metre tender on the foredeck.

According to BOATPro, Damen Yachting currently has seven yachts on order or under construction, including two units in its SeaXplorer 60 series.
