Amer, the comprehensive service center enabling UAE residents to handle all visa and residency procedures in one location, has seen a substantial 21.3% rise in transaction volumes for 2023 compared to 2022, as reported by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affair (GDRFA) Dubai. In the previous year, Amer, which boasts 75 outlets throughout Dubai, processed 4,925,939 transactions, marking a 21.3% increase from the 3,875,374 transactions in 2022. GDRFA anticipates further growth, as the first quarter of 2024 has already seen 1,594,644 transactions completed. The Emiratisation rate at Amer centers has been at 100% since 2022, with 893 Emiratis employed across various branches. Amer has expanded its network with the addition of five service lounges in different areas of the emirate and two branches within Dubai International Airport (DXB). Amer serves as a comprehensive hub for all visa and residency needs, including entry permits, new residency applications, golden visa requests, residency renewals and cancellations, issuance of exit permits, registration of new free zone establishments, issuance of departure permits, and other services associated with government entities such as the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Dubai Municipality.
