Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, celebrated her three-month milestone on December 8. To honor the occasion, Anju Bhavnani, Ranveer's mother and Dua's grandmother, made a heartfelt gesture by donating her hair to charity as a symbol of love and hope.
Anju shared a series of images on X (formerly Twitter) to document her act of kindness. The first photo showed her holding four braids of her donated hair, captioned simply as "Donated." The subsequent images featured the braids being measured on a scale and Anju proudly displaying her newly trimmed hair after the donation.
In a heartfelt note accompanying the post, Anju expressed her emotions, writing, "Happy 3rd month birthday my darling Dua. Marking this special day with a gesture of love and hope. As we celebrate the joy and beauty of Dua growing up, we are also reminded of the power of goodness and kindness. Hoping that this small act might bring comfort and confidence to someone going through a difficult time."
Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, on September 8, 2024. On the occasion of Diwali, the couple introduced their daughter to the world, revealing her name as 'Dua Padukone Singh' along with a touching message. They wrote, "Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude."
