Apple has revealed plans to open its fifth store in the UAE by 2025, with the new location set in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.
In a recent statement, Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, expressed enthusiasm, saying, "The UAE is a vibrant hub for creators, innovators, developers, and entrepreneurs. We are eager to expand our team, support local businesses, and deepen our connections with our customers here."
Situated in the city of Al Ain, the upcoming Apple Store aims to provide an immersive shopping and learning experience for customers across the region, featuring Apple's latest innovations.
Cook further stated, "We are excited to unveil our newest store in Abu Dhabi and continue sharing the unique Apple experience with more people."
Over the past five years, Apple has invested over Dh6 billion in the UAE, creating more than 38,000 jobs and fostering partnerships with Emirati companies and the thriving iOS app economy.
The Emirati developer community remains a significant driver of economic growth, supporting jobs nationwide across various companies. Since the inception of the App Store, UAE-based developers have earned nearly Dh5 billion from selling digital goods and services globally, with earnings increasing by over 750% since 2019.
