Boutique Italian shipyard Apreamare has unveiled the first glimpse inside its inaugural Maestro 88 model, Gipsy IV. At 27.1 meters, this vessel marks the largest build to date for the yard, renowned for its classic Gozzo dayboat range. The design, by Marco Casali of Too Design, with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini, positions the semi-planing yacht as a 'fully customized navetta' that 'strongly echoes the family-feeling of the previous Maestro line' while infusing a contemporary reinterpretation of style, form, and liveability.

Gipsy VI’s exterior boasts a navy-blue hull adorned with a light-blue bootstripe. Extensive glazing spans the length of the hull, fostering a 'continuous dialogue with the indoor spaces'. Long sliding glass windows ensure panoramic views and natural light permeate the interior. The interiors are characterized by a light, neutral color scheme, enhanced by soft furnishings that emphasize natural light and open spaces. The main saloon, framed by expansive sliding glass windows, features a dining table and lounge area. Teak finishes and modern, clean lines define the contemporary aesthetic, with all interior spaces fully customizable.

Accommodation is provided for up to eight guests, with crew quarters capable of housing up to four members. Gipsy VI includes four cabins, four bathrooms, and a relaxation area equipped with an electric piano, though future layouts can be adapted to individual preferences. Materials such as white slatted ceilings, teak, and marble surfaces are utilized throughout. The shipyard emphasizes the design approach allows for 'an infinite choice of materials, fabrics, and colors,' ensuring owners can tailor the space to their exact specifications.

Outdoor features include a spacious flybridge designed for both anchored and underway use, offering ample lounging space and a galley module with a wet bar. A streamlined T-Top, fitted with solar panels, provides shade and powers onboard systems. The yacht also boasts a beach club area and a transom garage capable of housing a four-meter tender and multiple water toys. The yacht can achieve top speeds of 22 knots and cruising speeds of 18 knots. Twin 1,600hp MAN engines provide a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. For the first hull, the owner opted for a larger engine configuration: a pair of 2,000hp MAN drives.

This unveiling comes on the heels of Apreamare’s announcement of a new refit division exclusively for its yachts at its Sorrento, Italy facilities.
