Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary General of the Arab League, vehemently denounced the atrocity carried out by the Israeli occupation forces early this morning at the Al-Tabin school in the Al-Daraj district of Gaza City. The school, a refuge for displaced individuals, was assaulted, leading to the demise of more than 100 Palestinians and causing injuries to hundreds of others.

In a recent statement, Aboul Gheit characterized the massacre as 'a despicable act that tarnishes the image of the Israeli occupation army.' He highlighted that the act of slaughtering displaced civilians during morning prayers is an offense that exceeds the typical harshness of the Israeli army, indicating a severe deficiency in moral judgment. He additionally condemned the relentless genocidal conflict waged against the Palestinians.

Aboul Gheit cautioned that the perpetuation of this campaign of annihilation against Palestinians in Gaza effectively gives Israel a carte blanche to kill without consequence. He urged the international community to exert genuine pressure on Israel to participate in earnest negotiations, facilitated by an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, in return for a prisoner exchange agreement.
