Aramco has joined forces with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team and World Robot Olympiad to introduce the Aramco Innovation Award, a new international accolade that highlights outstanding achievements in robotics design and technology.
This award is designed to motivate and acknowledge young talents who demonstrate exceptional creativity, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and technical prowess. The inaugural Aramco Innovation Award will be bestowed at the 2024 World Robot Olympiad international final, scheduled for November 28-30 in İzmir, Turkiye. It will be awarded to the triumphant team in the future innovators category (senior age group). Over 5,500 teams and 15,000 students from across the globe will vie for this prestigious award.
At the international final, 48 teams from 45 countries will be in contention for the prize. The winning team will receive an exclusive Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team Innovation Experience, which includes a visit to the AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone, the heart of British motorsport.
