On Sunday, June 8, the Ministry of Interior State of Kuwait reported the arrest of three women involved in an international online prostitution network. The ministry revealed in a social media post that these women, each of a different nationality, were operating through an account on various websites and social media platforms in exchange for money. They have been detained and are now under the jurisdiction of the relevant legal authority for further proceedings. Additionally, the authorities announced the apprehension of several individuals found with narcotics and psychotropic substances, handling 1006 related reports and setting up 200 checkpoints. This crackdown also led to 1,256 traffic violations, resulting in the arrest of 58 individuals and the seizure of seven vehicles. In a separate incident, a group of individuals implicated in fraud were also arrested and are awaiting further legal action.
