Arundhati Reddy claimed three wickets as Pakistan faced difficulties against India's bowlers, managing 105-8 in their Women's T20 World Cup match held in Dubai on Sunday.

Nida Dar led Pakistan's batting with a top score of 28 off 34 balls, but there were few other highlights for the team after captain Fatima Sana won the toss and chose to bat first on a pitch that offered unpredictable bounce.

Renuka Singh delivered a superb inswinger to dismiss Gull Feroza in the opening over, setting the tone for Pakistan's struggle. Muneeba Ali, the other opener, hit a couple of boundaries but was stumped by Richa Ghosh for 17 after attempting a risky run-down against Shreyanka Patil.

Ghosh later showcased her skills with a remarkable catch to remove the threatening Fatima Sana, who was trying to accelerate the scoring. Reddy contributed significantly with the wickets of Omaima Sohail (3) and Aliya Riaz (4), before sealing the match by clean bowling Dar in the final over, finishing with impressive figures of 3-19 from her four overs.

India's campaign started with a loss to New Zealand in their Group A opener, while Pakistan secured a victory against Sri Lanka.
