Aryan Khan is following in his father's footsteps. His father, the Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan, recently hosted the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) in the UAE. Now, he's returning to the country to support his son Aryan in launching a streetwear collection under the edgy brand D’YAVOL. The event, D’YAVOL AfterDark+, is set to be a grand party at Sky 2.0 in the Dubai Design District on October 27.
D'YAVOL, a global luxury collective, was founded by Shah Rukh Khan, Leti Blagoeva, Aryan Khan, and Bunty Singh. The brand offers a range of products from streetwear to award-winning beverages and exclusive experiences/events. The name D’YAVOL is inspired by the story of the legendary blues guitarist, Robert Johnson, who, despite initial criticism, persevered and became one of the greatest guitarists ever. Aryan resonated with this story and chose the name to emphasize the importance of perseverance, passion, and hard work in achieving success.
Dubai was chosen as the perfect launch pad for D’YAVOL due to its status as a hub for luxury and its multicultural population, making it an ideal gateway to global markets. The brand aims to push the boundaries of conventional luxury while maintaining authenticity. Aryan works closely with a team of designers and planners to create unique designs and experiences, ensuring that every product and event is of the highest quality.
Looking ahead, D’YAVOL plans to expand into markets like the UK and USA, while Aryan is also working on new product lines and verticals. Additionally, he has written and directed a web series in which D’YAVOL has a cameo. Aryan's directorial debut, focusing on the Indian film industry, is set to release next year.
