Asobi Studio has revealed that Astro Bot will receive a new level tomorrow, December 12, titled Winter Wonder, which will be available at 6 PM PT // 9 PM ET. This update is free for all players, but it requires the game to be completed before it can be accessed. At first glance, Winter Wonder appears to be exactly as its name suggests—a winter-themed level celebrating the festive season with snowy landscapes and Christmas decorations. While Asobi Studio has kept some details under wraps to surprise players, it has confirmed the presence of new bots to discover.

Astro Bot has already seen several updates since its launch this year, including new levels, bots to rescue, and various modes like speedrunning. The game has garnered critical acclaim and is featured in GameSpot's Top 10 Games of 2024. Additionally, it is a nominee for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024.
