Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was seen with a rifle beside him as he addressed worshippers in Tehran during a rare public sermon on Friday. This event took place just days after Iran's missile attack on Israel. Khamenei's sermon, his first in nearly five years, was delivered to thousands of worshippers who carried portraits of Iran's fallen leaders, known as the 'axis of resistance' against Israel and the United States.
During his address, Khamenei emphasized that every nation has the right to defend itself against aggressors. He strongly defended Iran's missile attack on Israel, labeling it as 'legal and legitimate'. 'The operation of our armed forces a few nights ago was totally legal and legitimate,' he stated.
