IYC, the central agency for charter, has unveiled the initial images of the 52.3-metre Baglietto superyacht Akula. This announcement comes after her launch in July 2024, where she joined her sisterships Ark of Fate and Infinity in the water, with Ark of Fate recently receiving a Neptune at the World Superyacht Awards. As the third hull in the T52 series, Akula is set to make her debut at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.

The superyacht boasts a dark grey hull and a 'powerful, aggressive look' designed by Francesco Paszkowski, with interiors styled by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design. She features an open stern and a three-level beach club, mirroring her sisterships. Accommodation includes six cabins, featuring a master cabin with a separate lounge, en suite, and floor-to-ceiling screen. The interiors are light and contemporary, with geometric LED lighting and a palette of cream and grey accented with pops of color.

Other notable features include the main deck pool, an upper deck bar, a dedicated office, and a gym replacing the aft garage. The two Jet Skis and 5.5-metre tender have been moved to the bow. The sundeck, described as 'the largest of any 52-metre in its class' by the broker, includes a Jacuzzi and a series of shaded lounge areas. All models in the T52 series feature this sundeck and a skylounge that can be opened on three sides.

"Although each yacht is part of a specific line, she is in fact truly one in her kind and the outcome of a long journey made side by side with the owner," stated Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto. Akula can achieve a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. The hull was sold in 2021, and according to BOATPro, Baglietto has an impressive 16 units currently on order or under construction.
