Following the triumphant release of its inaugural Friends of Jimbo collaboration pack in August, the beloved roguelike sensation Balatro has unveiled a fresh free crossover pack. This new addition is themed around Cyberpunk 2077, Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, and The Binding of Isaac. Similar to the previous bundle, this pack is also free and introduces card skins featuring characters from a diverse array of games, spanning from AAA blockbusters to indie gems. Players can unlock these new cosmetic cards via the updated Customize Deck menu in the game's settings. These skins are purely optional and merely enhance the visual appeal of the game without altering its mechanics.
"After the launch of our first collaboration pack this summer, we were eager to expand the roster of guest stars," commented Playstack PR manager Wout van Halderen. "Collaborating with these skilled developers and studios has been incredibly fulfilling, and seeing their creations integrated into Balatro has been a standout moment for both Playstack and LocalThunk." The previous collaboration pack featured card skins from The Witcher, Among Us, Vampire Survivors, and Dave the Diver, suggesting that Playstack has more collaborations in the pipeline. In a recent post on the game's BlueSky, the developer teased, "Is this the complete lineup, or are there more surprises to come?"
The Balatro Friends of Jimbo 2 pack is now available as a free update across PC, mobile, and console platforms.
