Bering Yachts has revealed the sale of its third flagship model, the Bering 145, to a loyal client who already owns the first unit in the series, the 44.2-metre Heeus. The buyer decided to add another Bering 145 to his fleet after witnessing her success in the charter market.
Designed as a true explorer, the Bering 145 is fitted with an ice belt, enabling high-latitude cruising, and boasts a substantial fuel capacity of 70,000 litres. This allows for a cruising range exceeding 4,600 nautical miles at a minimum speed of 12 knots. The vessel can operate autonomously for up to 30 days, according to the shipyard. Constructed from steel and aluminium, she will be built in Turkey.
Accommodation is thoughtfully arranged, with a master suite on the main deck offering panoramic ocean views. Guest and crew cabins are located on the lower deck. The flybridge serves as the central social area, featuring a comfortable skylounge, outdoor dining, and a sundeck complete with a Jacuzzi, sunpads, and a bar.
Additional highlights include a formal dining area on the main deck, seating in the bow, and a 30-square-metre garage for tenders, water toys, and other nautical equipment. The Bering 145 is powered by hybrid propulsion, with electric motors driving the propeller, which are charged by a bank of batteries. These batteries are recharged by high-efficiency, variable-speed DC generators.
Bering Yachts recently expanded its explorer yacht range with the introduction of the Bering 105, a 32.2-metre vessel designed for extended cruising and charter operations.
