Bering Yachts has recently completed the successful sea trials of the inaugural unit in its Bering 88 series. The 26.2-metre vessel, initially launched as the second Bering 80 in July 2024, underwent a rebranding following "several significant upgrades". According to the shipyard, this yacht stands out as one of the most spacious and long-range vessels in its class, and it is Bering's longest model under 24-metre load line.
Accommodation on board is designed to comfortably house 10 guests and five crew members, with all guest accommodations situated on the expansive lower deck. The interiors blend modern and classical styles, featuring light hues and natural materials like wood and marble. The main deck hosts the master cabin with a walk-in wardrobe, a main galley, a saloon, and a cockpit equipped with a 10-seater table. An innovative, large lift-up and rotation television system is installed outdoors.
The upper deck offers a gym, a Hammam, a lounge area, and a sunbed located at the bow. The aft deck is furnished with sunloungers but can also serve as tender storage. The flybridge includes a wet bar, a grill, two settees, sunbeds, and another television.
"The B88 series is rapidly becoming one of our most sought-after models," stated Alexei Mikhailov, founder of Bering Yachts. "Its size, just under 24 meters, offers all the space and luxury typically found in much larger yachts. With a range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles and a displacement of 220 tons, the B80 is as capable as it is impressive."
The yacht boasts a maximum speed of 10.5 knots and a cruising speed of 8.5 knots. BOATPro reports that the shipyard currently has three units on order or under construction. Additionally, Bering unveiled its flagship explorer model, the B165, earlier this year.
