Bering Yachts seized the occasion of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to unveil more details about its latest flagship model, the 49.4-metre B165. Initially showcased at this year's Dubai International Boat Show, two units of the B165 are currently in negotiation. The shipyard's existing on-water flagship is the 44.2-metre B145, with the first unit, Heeus, delivered in 2023.

Switzerland-based Valentin Design is behind the B165's exterior design. Designer Valentin Weigand shared, "Our goal was to craft a new type of explorer yacht—a genuine crossover that merges usability and practicality with an elegant, experience-focused design." The yacht stands out from its predecessors with an extended aft deck, enhanced by foldable bulwarks that increase usable space.

Accommodation spans six cabins, including two VIP cabins linked to the superyacht's "cinema room" on the main deck, which can be transformed into additional sleeping quarters if needed. The upper deck is reserved for the owner, featuring a cabin that opens onto a private bow lounge with a dip pool and sunpads. A skylounge and outdoor dining area are located aft.

The bridge deck houses an additional lounge, partially covered by a hardtop and equipped with a sit-up bar, TV screen, and a firepit. Above the bridge, a crow's nest offers a private, hardtop-covered space with a panoramic 360-degree view. The beach club boasts a swimming pool flanked by sunloungers, sunpads, and a swimming platform with a tender crane. The B165 can accommodate two tenders on its aft deck, including a five-metre Solas tender.

Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, the yacht can achieve a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Bering Yachts also disclosed details about its 32.2-metre Bering 105, which builds on the Bering 88 model, with the lower deck being the most significant modification. Designed for charter activities, four units of the Bering 105 are currently in negotiation, according to the shipyard.
