Bethesda has confirmed that the final version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does not contain any traces of the anti-piracy software Denuvo DRM. A report had claimed that Bethesda had secretly included Denuvo DRM just days before the game's launch. According to the game's SteamDB listing, it was apparently updated a few hours ago to include DRM. However, Bethesda responded to the claim, clarifying that the retail version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does not have Denuvo DRM, and it was only present in review builds to prevent leaks.

Denuvo DRM has been criticized for allegedly negatively impacting PC games, causing issues such as slowdowns and performance problems. Denuvo's parent company, Irdeto, has refuted these claims and attempted to demonstrate that the software does not affect game performance. Developers have faced complaints about Denuvo DRM, leading some to remove it from the final release builds of their games. For instance, developer Starbreeze removed Denuvo DRM from Payday 3 just a week before its release. Irdeto also unveiled a new anti-piracy software called TraceMark earlier this year.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to be released on December 6 for those who purchase the premium edition and December 9 for everyone else. The game will initially release for PC and Xbox Series X|S, with the PS5 release scheduled for Spring 2025. Bethesda recently disclosed the game's PC requirements, providing six different spec configurations for players to consider.
