US President Joe Biden stated on Wednesday that he does not endorse strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in retaliation for its missile assault on Israel. "We'll be consulting with the Israelis on their course of action, but all seven of us (G7 nations) concur that they have the right to respond, though it should be proportionate," Biden informed reporters prior to boarding Air Force One. Iran launched over 180 ballistic missiles towards Israel on Tuesday, a move that Biden had earlier characterized as "ineffective". Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Iran would face consequences for the attack. Certain analysts speculate that Israel's response this time might be more severe, possibly targeting Iran's nuclear or oil infrastructure. Biden further disclosed to reporters that additional sanctions would be imposed on Iran and that he would soon be in contact with Netanyahu. "Clearly, Iran is significantly off track," he remarked.
