The Big Bad Wolf book sale, dubbed the 'world's greatest book sale', returns to Dubai for its sixth season, running from November 29 to December 9. On opening day, books will be available starting at Dh1.99, offering a vast collection of titles at discounted prices. This season celebrates literature in all languages and will be held at Sound Stages in Dubai Studio City.
The event's launch coincides with the region's 'Orange Friday' sales extravaganza on November 29. Andrew Yap, co-founder of Big Bad Wolf, stated, 'Opening day is our way of celebrating the joy of reading while ensuring affordability remains central to our mission.' With books priced as low as Dh1.99, the sale aims to attract readers from all backgrounds to explore its extensive collection.
With a global mission of 'changing the world one book at a time,' this year's collection covers topics such as good health, quality education, gender equality, and climate action. The sale promotes sustainability and inclusivity through literature, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Big Bad Wolf will present its largest-ever book collection, including a significant selection of Arabic literature, curated in partnership with key organizations like the Sharjah Book Authority, Kalimat, and Menassah.
'The inclusion of over 50,000 Arabic titles reflects our commitment to providing meaningful literature to readers worldwide,' said Mohamed Noor Hersi, Board Member of Big Bad Wolf Sharjah.
