The highly anticipated Call of Duty game, Black Ops 6, is set to release on October 25. Fans are curious about the length of the campaign, and a senior developer has provided some insight into what to expect. According to IGN, associate creative director Jon Zuk mentioned that the Black Ops 6 campaign will be 'slightly longer' than the 2020 release, Black Ops Cold War, which faced criticism for its relatively short campaign.
However, the exact duration of the campaign won't be known until the game is released and players dive in. Since everyone plays at different paces, there won't be an 'official' length. Earlier this year, Treyarch production director Yale Miller stated that the campaign's length will align with traditional Call of Duty standards, describing it as 'a classic Call of Duty campaign' in terms of duration.
Black Ops 6 offers various ways to play its missions, potentially encouraging multiple playthroughs. Additionally, the game includes the popular Zombies mode and a multiplayer mode that can be enjoyed as long as the servers remain active. Notably, the campaign follows a linear narrative with a single ending, departing from the series' tradition of multiple campaign endings.
Black Ops 6 will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from launch day and can also be purchased on all major platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. For more details, refer to GameSpot's guide on Black Ops 6's preloading and launch times.
