British Airways announced on Sunday that it has decided to halt its flights to and from Tel Aviv until Wednesday, following the most significant confrontations between Israel and the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia in Lebanon since the commencement of the conflict in Gaza.
"We have been closely observing the developments in the Middle East and have made the operational decision to suspend our flights to and from Tel Aviv until and including Wednesday, August 28," stated a spokesperson for the airline. "Our primary concern is always the safety of our passengers, and we are in the process of contacting them to inform them about their travel alternatives."
