On Wednesday, British police announced they had found a man sought in relation to the murder of three women, including the wife and two daughters of a BBC horse racing commentator, in an incident suspected to involve a crossbow.

Officers discovered the three victims, aged 25, 28, and 61, with severe injuries at a house in Bushey, a suburban town 20 miles northwest of London, on Tuesday evening. They were pronounced dead shortly after at the scene. The BBC confirmed that the victims were Carol Hunt, wife of their commentator John Hunt, and two of their daughters.

A large-scale search involving armed officers was initiated for the suspect, Kyle Clifford, with police advising the public not to confront the 26-year-old. Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins from the local Major Crime Unit stated, "Following extensive enquiries, the suspect has been located and nobody else is being sought in connection with the investigation at this time."

Police reported that Clifford was found in north London, receiving medical attention for injuries sustained. No police shots were fired, according to the statement. The victims have not yet been officially identified, but police believe Clifford was known to the women.

Earlier on Wednesday, Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson described the incident as "horrific", indicating that a crossbow and possibly other weapons were believed to have been involved. Friends and colleagues of Hunt expressed their shock at the news. ITV horse racing commentator Matt Chapman tweeted, "Impossible to comprehend the pain. Just know we are all here for you John. We love you pal - racing loves you."
