The iconic Burj Khalifa is set to dazzle Dubai's skies with a brand new lighting system during the UAE's National Day celebrations. Standing at 829.8 metres, the world's tallest building has been equipped with a dynamic RGBW lighting system, blending cutting-edge technology with the structure's architectural elegance, according to Emaar Properties.
The new lighting system will make its debut during the Eid Al Etihad festivities on December 1. This upgrade comes as the Burj Khalifa approaches a significant milestone, celebrating its 15th anniversary on January 4, 2025. The installation process was meticulously planned, involving a six-month mock-up phase to ensure flawless integration. The enhanced system incorporates dynamic RGBW technology, replacing traditional static lights with color-changing, addressable fixtures designed to produce intricate lighting effects.
In recent news, YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, widely recognized as MrBeast, achieved an awe-inspiring feat by scaling the iconic tower. Additionally, several celebrities, including Tom Cruise and Will Smith, have previously conquered the heights of the world's tallest building.
